For Families Who Are Referred

If your child has been referred by a physician, therapist, school professional, or other provider, we want you to know that you've taken an important step. A referral reflects your provider's care and commitment to helping your child get the support they need.

Once we receive a referral, our office will review the information to determine appropriateness and next steps. In some cases, we may follow up with the referring provider to clarify the referral or discuss recommendations.

When an evaluation or consultation is indicated, we will contact you directly to review the referral, explain the process, and answer any questions you may have. We typically reach out within 72 hours of receiving a referral.

What a Referral Means

A referral does not automatically mean that testing is required or recommended. Our goal is to understand your child's unique needs and help determine the most appropriate next steps for your family. Whatever the outcome, we're here to guide you with care and clarity.

While You Wait

If you have been referred and have questions about the process or timeline, please don't hesitate to contact our office directly. No question is too small. We're happy to provide information, updates, and reassurance as you wait to hear from us.
