At Pediatric Neuropsychology Associates PLLC, we are committed to providing an inclusive, respectful, and accessible environment for all children and families. We recognize that every child and family has unique needs—whether related to language, mobility, sensory preferences, or other differences—and we strive to create a supportive environment that reduces stress and promotes a fair, comfortable evaluation experience.

Physical Accessibility

  • Our office is wheelchair accessible, including ramps, elevators, and restrooms located just outside our suite for convenience.
  • Free parking is available near the building entrance.
  • Our testing spaces are designed to accommodate a range of physical and mobility needs.

Language and Communication Access

We strive to provide accurate, fair, and culturally responsive evaluations. If language support is needed, we will attempt to arrange interpretation or translation services with advance notice. If a child is equally fluent in or more proficient in a language other than English, we may recommend a referral to an evaluator who is bilingual or dominant in that language to ensure that the assessment is valid, fair, and culturally appropriate.

Vision Accessibility

We strive to accommodate individuals with vision impairments by providing accessible materials and appropriate support. If a child requires accommodations such as large-print documents or other visual supports, please let us know in advance so we can best assist them. When clinically appropriate, we may recommend referral to specialists with expertise in working with individuals with vision impairments to ensure the assessment process and results are accurate and meaningful.

Hearing Accessibility

We strive to accommodate individuals with hearing impairments by providing appropriate communication supports and accommodations. If a child requires accommodations such as visual supports, written materials, or other communication adjustments, please let us know in advance so we can best assist them. When clinically appropriate, we may recommend a referral to specialists with expertise in working with individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing to ensure the assessment process and results are accurate and meaningful.

Support for Children with Diverse Needs and Families

We understand that unfamiliar environments—especially during evaluations—can feel overwhelming for some children and families. We also recognize that each child has unique needs. To help reduce stress and support comfort, we offer:

  • A quiet, calm waiting area for parents and caregivers
  • Private testing rooms designed to be low-stimulation and distraction-reduced
  • Access to an outdoor courtyard for movement or sensory breaks, when appropriate
  • Flexible scheduling and extended transition times when clinically appropriate
Families are encouraged to let us know in advance about any specific needs or preferences so we can do our best to accommodate them.
